The dolls are dolling! <3

Shello, Shello, the girls, baby, the DOLLS, they can’t take the womanhood, baby, they can’t take the DOLL!!! Also yes I said this out loud every single time I summoned El ShadDOLL Construct like it was her summoning chant.

Not me spending tons of gems last year to get my 3rd Construct only for the original version of the deck to get powercrept and for the new Skill to make it so only 2 are needed. Anyway, I’ve been so excited to give the Dolls a run at KOG and found that it’s still super good even with only 1 copy of Resh and no Nibiru. There’s just so much resource recursion and being able to search the Dolls fusion spell makes it impossible to brick. You can’t read the doll!

The only real problem was going 2nd against Utopia or Speedroid if you don’t already have a 2nd fusion to bait out the S/T negate. Otherwise, this deck challenges your timing for card activations as well as your resource management, it kind of reminds me of pre-nerf Predaplant in how every setup is hand-dependent and also how much more time is spent playing on the opponent’s turn. There is a learning curve in figuring out the right sequencing of effects, but otherwise I expect this deck to be good for the rest of the year unless more nerfs happen.

Also, to address the elephant—or rather, dragon—in the room, a lot of wins against off-meta decks involve cheesing them with Miss Winda (or as I call her, Linda). Listen, I don’t like Linda either, she’s the fake b*tch of the group who says she’ll be the designated driver but then orders 3 shots as soon as you get to the club, but she is the only doll in the group who has a license AND she stops the really ugly trade from bothering the group while you’re just trying to party.
