Notes & Combos
I completed the 5-game streak to KoG on my first try. However, Legend 1-3 was infested with Yubel players and I just couldn't play the game vs them. I don't think I've hated a deck more than Neos Yubel, and I also don't think it's even that good. It's just so g*ddamn annoying to play against. Konami pls nerf this toxic-@$$ deck.
Usually I do a write-up on my KoG decks but this deck has been around forever so there's not really much to say. The only tech choice is 2 IDP + 1 Compulse. I was playing around with 2 IDP, 2 Veiler, and Nahata because I was running into the mirror quite a bit between Legend 2-4. I think the 3 Trap 0 Veiler build is better for ladder, but Veiler and Nahata can be used in tournaments (probably with Side Deck to account for the mirror). As for Compulse, I switched out 1 IDP for it after I got tilted about getting sacked by Yubel Neos 3 Duels in a row. I never drew it, though.
I could write an entire essay about how much more I hate playing against Yubel than old BLS, but I digress. IMO Tenyi is probably the most "fair" meta deck right now due to all the sackiness that Yubel Neos has forced into the format. Overall, this deck is super fun.
