Notes & Combos

The key difference in this deck and other versions is we want 2x Shining Flare Wingman and 2x Voltic Wingman for specific combos. We also want to run 2x copies of Fusion and try to get them both out of the deck as quickly as possible, since we're using several cards that require sending a card from the hand to either deck or graveyard, and we can fetch fusion back from either once a turn, or multiple times a turn with Star Restart (from GY). Plus we can thin the deck that much more so our Pot of Greed, Elemental Circulations, and Argents are that much more likely to hit the card we need.

Combos Overview

Many of the combos depend on the cards in your GY, but luckily between the Skill, Elemental Circulatation, and sometimes Shiny Shady, we can load our GY up incredibly quickly with just what we need, then fetch it back with Star Restart, Voltic Wingman, or Miracle Fusion. This also means that whether you go first or second, you almost always want to set&pass to get more monsters into your GY and to get another turn to draw your Pot of Greed/Elemental Circulations.

Some of the combos below assume the cards you need are in your GY, it's up to you to get them there first and keep them there.

  • Avian Spell Tactics + Rising Hero Argent | Place the card you need for a fusion summon on top of the deck with Tactics then Excavate it with Argent
  • Double Shining Flare Wingman | This can be a difficult board for your opponent to deal with. If you fusion summon Shining Flare Wingman normally, you can immediately summon a second with Miracle Fusion or with Voltic Wingman.
  • Avian Spell Tactics + Thunder Giant | If you're forced to summon Thunder Giant early, it can be very beneficial to return him to the deck with Avian Spell Tactics so you can use him to excavate with Argent and to discard with Elemental Circulation. Tactics could be used to return other fusion monsters to the extra deck as well if you're in a situation where you need to summon them again.
  • Voltic Wingman + Thunder Giant + Voltic Wingman | Fusion summon the first Voltic Wingman Normally, use the Skill/Star Restart to get the second one out, then activate one's ability to bring a Thunder Giant out.
    • If Flame Wingman is in GY, then use Thunder Giant's ability to destroy a Voltic Wingman, and summon a Shining Flare Wingman.
    • If Burstinatrix is in GY/Hand, Thunder Giant a Voltic Wingman and summon a Flame Wingman.
