we are running tornado draw skill, this is so we can instantly draw into our exodia when the conditions align. the condition is just having 2 pieces in hand with our board wiped and the opponent having a lvl 7. this will happen naturally in many matchups (rebels, thunder, SAR, dragons, etc), and has led me to turn 4 tornado draw into maximum summon before. once our maximum is on the field, it can easily otk the opponent from full life if there are 3 attack mode monsters with just its own buff; pierce makes sure you otk if there are any defense position monsters, and both seal array as well as shield and sword can make sure you otk if there are multiple big monsters or only 2 monsters.

the rest of the game before otk, your goal is a combination of stall (get used to set 3 pass) and chip damage (to make sure youre comfortable in range for otk), but sometimes it also makes sense to just win playing the game normally, thats just an awareness thing. not running hysteric force lets us run valk, a great blocker wjo can sometimes steal whole turns. our defensive spells are self explanatory, but do note that sometimes you may want to use widespread (and i guess the negates) at different times than other decks, just because we want our opponent to have a 7star and we want our board empty.

pet dragon is here because our worst matchup is the mirror (they barely play 7star and chip us every turn), because 2500 is a lot of defense and can completely wall out some decks (especially paired with smart negates), and because sometimes it results in enough pressure when doing your chip damage that you just win.

we are on 2 mid piece not just cause we're on kings majesty, but also cause it helps the skill draw correctly, if we were on 3 then we would have spots where we have mid piece and left piece and we draw mid piece. feel free to use your first mid piece for pressure most games, you can recycle her if you summon your second mid piece, but dont summon left or right hnless to you can kill. playing like this prevents you from losing access to tornado draw maximum.

As for running this list vs hysteric force, this didn't feel like a meme build. It feels legit powerful in it's own right, and the things it sacrifices without hysteric and without 3 mid pieces are compensated for with the ability to win the game in an instant. I can't say it's better than hysteric, but I think it's strong enough to consider.
