Tier 1

TPC Comments

Loading... by itself has placed Blue-Eyes in the Top Tiers since it can be set for free off the Skill and non-targeting destroy cards by Showing (It's actually quite important that it doesn't require Revealing) Loading... s.

Additionally, the deck has seen a wide amount of varieties including a Ritual variant using Loading... + Loading... , a variant using Loading... + Loading... , and a variant using Loading... for Loading... into Loading... .

With the depth of possibilities, I think there's still a ton of room for exploration in Blue-Eyes

I think Blue-Eyes is an undoubtebly solid Tier 1 deck in the current metagame, with plenty of representation and favourable matchups.

Blue-Eyes can even abuse Loading... by utilising free Level 3's like Loading... , Loading... , and Loading... to go into Loading... , making it searchable.

For me personally, Shaddoll hovers in a gray spot between Tier 1 and Tier 2. A horrible Blue-Eyes matchup might end up being too overwhelming.

Tier 2

TPC Comments

Shinobird seems to be a strong competitor and a meta defining deck with a lot of positive matchups, with expectations that more decks will need to adapt to it.

It can force disruptions quite easily going second, thanks to a free Loading... , easy access to Link Monsters and Rank 4 Xyz Monsters, Loading... for backrow removal, and Loading... shutting off monster effects. Combined with ritual-based, non-targeting triple bounces — Loading... for monsters and Loading... for backrow — it's easily one of the best decks going second using only its engine, and even better when supported by tech cards.

Going first, the Loading... line seems to be the go-to option in most matchups to survive. In others, setting up a Rank 4 or Loading... is ideal, followed by a Ritual Summon on your opponent’s turn to bounce three cards and potentially summon Loading... with enough setup, shutting off monster effects for the opponent’s turn and for your next turn if the opponent doesn’t deal with it, as special summoned Spirits don’t return to the hand.

It’s worth noting, however, that the Lyrilusc - Assembled Nightingale line loses to any kind of hand trap or to an opponent’s negate like Loading... , which makes Turn 1 somewhat questionable.

That said, players seem to be adapting to a similar build lately, with Loading... being a one-card-combo that makes the Lyrilusc - Assembled Nightingale with an Loading... line, alongside common staples and maxed-out copies of Loading... . Still, there’s plenty of experimentation going on in the community, and the deck seems to have more variants and lines waiting to be discovered.
